"YOU" Day...

Change...for the better.

The ONLY way to a future, is creating that FUTURE!

Today, February 27, 2012 is a very life enriching day. I am so grateful that I was given the chance to attend a very helpful session on how to manage the changes in life. When we submit to GOD’s desire in doing things HE asks us to do, we are sure to be on the right path. He will affirm us once we are doing what is good.

“The more wisdom you get, the more expensive you are.”

Just a perfect time, I guess for Lent… I got the chance to reflect on the following:

·         What is important to me?
·         What is it that I want to clarify in my life?
·         Do you remember the first time you fell in love? Give your heart another chance to love life again. Give yourself another chance… another life.

May the Holy Spirit guide us...

Some of the other things worth considering…
STOP…
START…
CONTINUE…

  • Thinking

  • Eliminating worries

  • To be productive

  • Focusing on problems and limitations

  • Working on solutions

  • Pursuing your passion

  • Doubting yourself

  • Trusting yourself

  • To collect ideas and knowledge that can help you in your new stage of life

  • Evaluating things

  • Working fast

  • Creating your OWN amazing world

  • Being independent

You are BEAUTIFUL and VALUABLE.

PUT GOD in LIFE! Establish relationship with GOD.

Let’s continue to produce correctly… we will survive.

Size is not a guarantee for success.

One more important realization is that SELF is enriched and SELF is enhanced, when you know how to process yourself. This will help you become a better person.

It’s a good chance to tap oneself and say, “YOU are accountable for your life.

You are a performer! You are a VALUE adding performer regardless which company you are in.

One good lesson as well for today is that,
“When you work WITH your VALUE, YOU become VALUABLE. You become EXPENSIVE! Mahal ka.”
However, “When you work WITHOUT your VALUES, you cheapen yourself. (Minumura mo ang sarili mo.)

What do you really value?

It’s a beautiful and enriching lesson also about VISION… how important s it to clearly picture a desired future destination that is specific and tangible in the imagination.

And together with the VISION is the MISSION. This is where you have to ask yourself, “What am I living for? What am I sent to do in this world?” Unlike the vision, this is an act of self-discovery, not an act of creation. At the end of life, “what do I want to have accomplished?” is an important question worth reflecting to answer to find the profound meaning of life.

With all these, I felt the day with the LORD while doing my work. I was affirmed by GOD and given a bonus during this Lenten Season.

Since I am blessed with all these reflections, I want to bless you too by sharing what I learned for today.

May GOD hug you as well today! Be blessed!

May GOD bless you...

Simply a Doughnut Lover

Doughnuts can bring us heavenly experience =)
I have a public confession to make. I am a doughnut-lover. A wonderful experience yesterday affirmed me that, it’s worth it!

After our midday meal, I was craving for donut, so I asked a friend to accompany me to the donut store. Some other good buddies went to the “Pasalubong ng Bayan” to have coffee. When we got there, I got munchkins. Yummy! Doughnut delight was getting into my nerve, when our attention was caught by two (2) kids. They were asking for a treat from our foreigner colleague. While the foreign guy was unaware of what one kid was saying, “Pa-libre ng donut…” I just handed over my doughnuts to the deprived kids. I just ordered another delightful doughnut meal and hurray for today came my way!  Then off we went back to the office.

i love you more now! =)

Just before my day at work was over, I got a message that says, “By the way, you’ve got such a big heart… It’s comforting to know there are kind hearted people like you.”

“Thanks but I just informed you about the phone call… How come you are able to say this…?” was my in awed reply. (I got the message just after telling him about a supplier’s phone call… not a big deal.)

My new found friend clarified, “You gave the small kid your doughnut!” then smiled.

I was touched and said, “Aaaw! I find joy and meaning in giving especially for those whom this world considers least, last and lost. They are actually not the ones who received, I did. I was the one who got the most. They just able to get my donuts… While I got a deep sense of joy and gratitude. They gave me the grace to be a blessing in little ways… It’s my everyday prayer, to be a blessing in my own simple and little ways. Thanks that you appreciated. I’m just paying forward. I am blessed so I am trying to bless the world, too.”

It’s a pleasure to be associated with such a great girl like you. I still wonder how come such a wonderful lady is still single…” was his funny reaction.

Then I said, “I also wonder why!” I laughed… with gratitude and joy, I was unaware that simple action touched somebody’s heart.

I thanked GOD for answering my everyday prayer. GOD be glorified! Thanks to the doughnuts! I all the more love you now! =)

Share some love! Be a blessing! =)

Please let me campaign for my personal advocacy, “Be a blessing in simple ways!” May GOD bless you as you bless others!

Practically Happy Birthday for My Love!

February 5, 2012 - a child taught me once again that real happiness needed not to be that costly. Our baby, Joseph Marrion, "JM" as we call him, celebrated his 3rd birthday last Sunday. In my intention to make him happy in my own simple ways I just decided to grant his simple wishes. Really amazed how a child as young as his age can already express what they want in life! (that's what i missed about childhood! so simple yet happy!)

For almost a week before his birthday, JM had been telling us "timba (simba) ako simbahan ng ninong father ta birthday ko."  We were laughing, surprised how he remembered someone he hasn't seen for a long time. So we granted his 1st wish... We attended mass at the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus on his birthday. Funny how JM was awake as early as 4:30am in preparation for the birthday mass in a far town... haha! Right after the mass, I've seen so much energy and happiness in him! Then on our way back to the city, he slept peacefully not knowing we would drop by another parish just so we attend another mass! Haha! He was just enjoying our Visita Iglesia on his birthday!

Then, in front of the church in the city, he knew there's a "toy shop" so he dragged me to buy him toy-car worth P60. and so i gave in to his sweet harassment to get him the set of cars! Then again, I've seen a unique pure grin of our lovable child.

After the mass (3rd) JM said he wanted to go to "Abee (short  for Jollibee) Mommy, Abee" but he wants in SM, so we there as he wished. He was actually after the toys and not the food but granted his birthday lunch gusto.

After lunch, his next simple wish is to ride on the mall escalator! My goodness! Hahaha! So I treated him instead for a Ride-All-You-Can in Storyland. As expected he took so much pleasure with the fun rides!
With all these rides, he was also able to avail of free face-painting, join the activity drawing in the birthday booth of SM Storyland and played a lot in the world of fun!

While riding, he told me, Mommy... Cake! Haha! So I rushed and bought a small one with a number "3" candle. Then, when he said he wanted balloons, i bought him three (3) balloons!
With all these simple wishes granted, I was touched when JM expressed to his lolo and lola, "Enjoy ako!"

And the lesson that JM taught me... We needed not to spend that much to pay for REAL HAPPINESS! I really love the way a child can teach about the real essence of life and love.

Thanks again, Baby JM! GOD bless you, JM dearest! Thanks for being our wonderful and precious gift from GOD! I love you and Happy Birthday again, JM! Enjoy a blessed life! Always be a good boy, son! =)
